These roles will use financial, business and analytical skills to provide quality business information to departments across WaterAid. These roles will be a key part of driving forward WaterAid's ambition of Everyone Everywhere by 2030.

As our positive and proactive International Management Accountant Apprentice you will work towards attaining your CIMA qualification whilst working in a dynamic and friendly finance team. The role is a three-year fixed term contract, and as part of your development, we will put you through your CIMA qualification, which will involve both on the job training and on one day a week out of the office undertaking your studies.

In this role, you will provide a key resource to the WaterAid finance team by supporting WaterAid's country programmes and UK departments to deliver effective financial plans.

You'll also:
*Get a fantastic experience with a high performing NGO finance team
*Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures, including suggesting effective solutions to issues as they arise
*Work with the management accountants to produce monthly income and expenditure analysis, forecasts and narrative reporting.
*Develop a good working knowledge of all finance systems and support the implementation of current and new tools and processes to support effective funds management
*Contribute to the annual planning cycle and ensure budgets and reports are reasonable and accurate.
We are looking for 2 candidates with relevant degree level education or AAT qualified. For one role, we also require a fluent French speaker (please note this is essential requirement for one role only)

* Strong time management and general organisational skills, with the ability to work methodically and within tight deadlines,
* Commitment to the qualification, own personal learning, and ambition to apply what has been learnt in the workplace.

WaterAid is currently located at Durham Street, Vauxhall. However, we will be leaving our current location in the summer of 2020. The new location is to be confirmed but will be within zone 1-2 in London. The recruiting line manager will discuss this with you at the interview stage.
