The WaterAid Accountability and Effectiveness team plays a vital role in defining the business processes that enable WaterAid's international operation to meet its organisational accountabilities and assure the effectiveness of its work.

As our Programme Data Analyst you will support country programmes and regional teams in data collection and analysis, working with colleagues to ensure that project data is of good quality and available when needed.

This is an 8-month fixed-term contract providing cover, with a possibility of becoming permanent. The role can be based in the UK or one of WaterAid UK's country programmes and may require international travel of up to 6 weeks.

In this role, you will provide data collection and analysis capacity building as well as supporting country programme colleagues to ensure good quality data is available.

You'll also:
* Provide day to day support for WaterAid's programme management information systems (PMIS)
* Work with colleagues to identify system improvements and changes.
* Provide capacity building to country programmes implementing WaterAid's Post-Implementation Monitoring Surveys to review the sustainability of WaterAid's work
* Support country programmes in the use and embedding of PIMS results into more sustainable programme design.

To be successful, you'll need:
* Experience of designing surveys
* Experience in effective data visualisation to meet various audience's needs
* Excellent writing skills, ability to disseminate and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner

WaterAid is currently located at Durham Street, Vauxhall. However, we will be leaving our current location in the summer of 2020 (likely to be June/July 2020) and moving to 20 Canada Square, Canary Wharf. Therefore the London Office location and contract base, if you are successfully offered the role, will change. This will be discussed at the interview stage with you.

This post could be based in the UK (provided you are able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK) or could be based in one of WaterAid UK's country programmes.

Salary: £32,900 with excellent benefits or or regional (£28,890); Competitive in location outside of the UK (in line with the local market)
