The WaterAid South Asia team supports our country offices in the region to provide high quality water, sanitation and hygiene programmes.
As our organised and confident Regional Support Officer you will work with team members across the region to coordinate programme and finance systems to ensure effective planning, and reporting to ensure quality programme delivery. You will also help to organise the team and contribute to learning.

The post is a permanent full time role based out of our London offices.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the project management system to ensure that operational, monitoring and evaluation plans are accurate and up to date.
You'll also:
* Support our country programmes to use the system, recognise successes and support them with challenges
* Advise and support the team with all of their quarterly programme reporting and management tasks
* Lead the reporting system learning group
* Provide financial management support for budgets and reports
* Support the planning and facilitation of regional meetings, workshops and events.
* Prepare and disseminate reports and communications materials
* Lead the management of team shared documents and learning materials

You will have experience of maintaining IT systems, programme and project planning, logframe design, progress monitoring and reporting.
To be successful, you'll need:
A taught degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field e.g. public health, international development, water and sanitation Have strong communication skills including oral, written and audio-visual skills Good financial numeracy and IT literacyThe ability to provide effective support and to collaborate and coordinate remotely with multi-cultural teamsTo be organised and approachable, yet assertive and able to hold others to account for their tasksSome experience of working in the development sector or exposure to less developed countries especially paid or voluntary work abroad
